Volunteer Advocate Training - Madison County
The Sexual Assault Resource Center will begin its 89th Advocate Training Class on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at CHI St. Joseph's Hospital - Madison. The 40-hour training class is open to all individuals interested in serving as an advocate for survivors of sexual violence, their family members and loved ones. The Advocate Training Program is free and certified by the Office of the Attorney General. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact Caroline Adams or Amanda Gomez at (979) 731-1000 between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday; or visit our website at www.sarcbv.org.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check. Anyone interested in volunteering may complete the Volunteer Interest Form at https://goo.gl/forms/o9OlvD0F46POezTK2. Training Schedule as follows:
March 20th: 5:30-8:30pm
March 21st: 5:30-8:30pm
March 22nd: 5:30-8:30pm
March 23rd: 5:30-8:30pm
March 25th: 9am-2pm
March 27th: 5:30-8:30pm
March 28th: 5:30-8:30pm
March 29th: 5:30-8:30pm
March 30th: 5:30-8:30pm
April 1st: 9am-2pm
